Traditional East Asian and Filipino Healing Arts Practitioner
Lakan Ubaya’s (he/it) practice is informed by being a neurodivergent, Tagalog and Chinoy, trans queer. With training from the Hilot Academy of Binabaylan and the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine , Lakan works to assist people in finding balance within themselves as well as the larger external ecosystem they reside in. It sees the body as a garden to be cultivated, not a warzone against death and disease.
