Jessica Begans (she/her) is a clinical social worker in private practice. She is a newcomer to the city of Philadelphia, and sees patients here, plus virtually in Virginia and Massachusetts, where she has also lived and is also licensed.

Jess does psychotherapy with individuals and groups, from adolescents on up. A professional Gemini, she could never commit to just one therapeutic modality. Her current favorites are Internal Family Systems (Level 1 training completed in 2019) and feminist relational psychodynamic therapy. Jessica approaches trauma therapy with patience and playfulness. She is passionate about supporting people who want to deepen their important relationships, and wants to hear all about your special interests. Her mission is to provide respectful and accessible care, to act as witness, ally and good company to her patients on their beautiful search for wholeness, connection, understanding, purpose and joy.

Jess graduated from Smith College School for Social Work in 2011. She takes several kinds of insurance.
